Donny Rose has been a passionate music educator and performer for over 40 years, inspiring junior and high school students with his love for band, jazz, choir, and a cappella music. With a BA in music education and his MA in conducting, his expertise has taken him around the globe, presenting at renowned music conferences like multiple state and national ACDAs, as well as teaching at music schools in Finland, England, Canada, and the U.S. Donny’s work with the Barbershop Harmony Society in Nashville, TN, has been transformative, revitalizing music education for adult members, school ensembles, and new-to-barbershop music teachers worldwide. He has also left his mark as the former director of the Northwest Sound Men's Chorus and as the founding director of both the Northwest Vocal Project in Bellevue and VanCity Harmony in Vancouver, BC. A professional trombonist, vocalist, and pianist, Donny continues to perform in his hometown of Bellingham, Washington, where his dedication to music remains as vibrant as ever.
