When the world went dark, this choir inspired the hearts of it’s audience.
At the height of the global pandemic, Artistic Director Michael Zaugg created innovative choral performances that inspired the hearts of his audience and transformed his chamber choir Pro Coro Canada.
When the world went dark, conductor Michael Zaugg went looking for a roadmap to help guide the way forward for his award-winning choir Pro Coro Canada. He learned about technical capacity, monetization models, audience types and how to reach them. But Maestro Zaugg soon realized that to stay relevant, he had to reimagine how to inspire the hearts of his audience - wherever they were. He set out to create innovative performances that would captivate and challenge his listeners, while still staying true to the mission and mandate of this award-winning professional chamber choir.
Michael Zaugg talked to Tom Metzger in the ChoirSuccess studios.
